Jharigaon: Chintamani, a young girl from the remote region of Chandahandi in Nabarangpur district, has brought glory to her block and area by securing 93Percent marks in the +2 examination. After this news reached Jharigaon MLA Narsingha Bhatra, he invited Chintamani to his residence and congratulated her with a bouquet.
Chintamani is a native of Gambhariguda Panchayat headquarters in Chandahandi block. She is the eldest daughter of Parmananda Gouda and Umakanta Gouda among their three children. From her childhood, she had a deep interest in studies, and studied from Class I to X at Jagannath High School in her village.
During her school days, she was the favorite student of all her teachers. She scored high marks in the Class 10 board exam, topping her block. Her proud parents, despite financial constraints, took loans to get her admitted to the Science stream at Pragati College, Bhawanipatna, in Kalahandi district.
Now, by securing excellent marks in the +2 exam, she has made her parents and entire locality proud. The MLA also expressed pride in her success and extended his best wishes for her bright future.
