Asural, Dec, 19:: A Block-level Children’s Festival and Constitutional Conference was organized on Wednesday at the Raipur Jaydurga High School campus in Dhamnagar Block by the Secondary School Teachers’ Association (OSTSA)
In the first phase of the program, the meeting was presided over by Block Editor Hemanta Kumar Sutar, with participation from Panchayat Committee Chairperson Sharmistha Behera, former District President Ramakanta Parida, Editor Pradipta Kumar Das, Vice President Parshuram Patra, Sarpanch Jagadanan Sethi, Cooperative Committee President Bhagabat Khatuwa, School Management Committee Chairperson Savita Swain, social worker Manoranjan Das, Head Teacher Gangadhar Behera, among other guests.
In the second phase, the meeting was presided over by Block President Pradipta Kumar Basantia. Dhamnagar Circle Education Officer Prafulla Kumar Sahu attended as the chief guest and appreciated the children’s talents, emphasizing that the festival helps to bring out the qualities and potential of students.
Other prominent attendees included District Editor Prabhat Kumar Panigrahi, joint editor Prashant Kumar Mishra, former Panchayat Committee President Ashok Kumar Nayak, former committee member Prashant Kumar Nayak, and School Management Committee member Nimai Charan Barik.
On this occasion, students from various schools participated in competitions such as music, dance, poetry writing, poetry recitation, debate, painting, and solo acting, showcasing their artistic skills. All teachers and school staff contributed actively to make the festival a success.
