Bhubaneswar, Jan, 20: After taking charge as Chief Secretary, Anu Garg has gone into action mode. She will hold a video conference with all District Collectors on the 16th of every month.
During these meetings, she will review various important government works pending at the district level. A detailed review will be conducted on key aspects of schemes and programmes being implemented under different departments. All District Collectors will be required to attend.
Each department will be given 30 minutes in the meeting. Within this limited time, departments have been instructed to come fully prepared so that all critical issues can be discussed.
Departments must complete their PowerPoint presentations within 10 minutes. Each presentation can have a maximum of 7 slides and must be completed within the allotted time.
The issues to be discussed in the meeting will be informed to the District Collectors in advance, so that they can prepare beforehand.
Similarly, departments have been asked to send details of district-wise critical issues and problems to the Planning and Convergence Department. District Collectors have been instructed to send this information by the 8th of every month.
However, the directive also states that if the 16th falls on a holiday or a Monday, the video conference will not be held on that day.
