Chief Minister’s Labour Day Gift: Workers’ Wages Increased by Rs 10

Bhubaneswar: The minimum wages of workers in the state have been increased by ₹10. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi approved the related proposal today. As a gesture ahead of May 1st, Labour Day, the Chief Minister extended this gift to the state’s workers. The revised wages will be effective retrospectively from April 1, as announced by the Chief Minister.

According to the decision:

The minimum daily wage for unskilled workers has increased from Rs 452 toRs 462

For semi-skilled workers, it has increased from Rs 502 to Rs 512

For skilled workers, the wage has gone up from Rs 552 to Rs 562

For highly-skilled workers, it has risen from Rs 602 to Rs 612
