Papadahandi, The annual festival of Chandrapur Ashram School in Papadahandi Block, Nabarangpur District, was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Headmaster Shri Dasharath Jani presided over the event, and several distinguished guests graced the occasion.
Among the chief guests were Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi, Block Representative Hari Panigrahi, and District Welfare Officer Shri Palakar Rabindra. Other notable attendees included Deputy Welfare Officer Shri Bharat Chandra Sahu, MLA Representative Shri Rajani Kant Sasmal, former Sarpanch Shri Shiva Prasad Agrawal, and several local dignitaries.
The event commenced with students welcoming the guests, followed by the opening speech and annual report presentation by Headmaster Shri Dasharath Jani. Various competitions were held, and winners were awarded certificates and prizes by the guests.
Students performed cultural programs, adding vibrancy to the celebration. Shri Rati Kant De, a teacher from Badamasigaon, conducted the stage proceedings. The school administration, organizing committee, students, and parents actively participated, creating an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm.
Teachers including Shri Nanda Kishore Mati, Shri Rajendra Saira, Shri Gangadhar Bishoyi, Shrimati Shanti Lata Sahu, Matron Didi Sanyukta Pattnaik, ANM Kalpana Nayak, Parita Majhi, Lalita Bhatara, and Tulasa Majhi contributed to the success of the event.
At the conclusion, Headmaster Shri Dasharath Jani expressed gratitude to all attendees and formally closed the event. Additionally, under the state government’s initiative, all students received notebooks, pens, and other essential study materials.
