Delhi, Dec, 15: The Central Government has changed the name of MNREGA
It has been renamed as “Pujya Bapu Grameen Rozgar Yojana”
The government has also increased the minimum number of employment days under the scheme
The minimum employment period has been increased from 125 days to 240 days
Initially, the scheme was called National Rural Employment Guarantee
Later, it was renamed Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee
