Umerkote, Jan, 19: A career counselling programme was organised by the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at PM Shri Government High School, Kurshi, under Umerkote Block of Nabarangpur district. The programme was conducted as per the directions of the Director of the State Department of Technical Education.
The programme was initiated under the leadership of Sanjay Kumar Thakur, Principal of the Government ITI. Training Officer Pradeep Kumar Barman delivered the welcome address, motivating the students and guiding them about their future careers.
Senior Instructor Saurabh Shit addressed the students on the importance of technical education, its recognition by the government, and the employment opportunities available through vocational training.
At the end of the programme, the Headmaster of the school, Sandhar Majhi, proposed the vote of thanks.
More than a hundred students participated in the programme. The event was supported by ITI Assistant Instructors Suraj Samant Singhhar, Deepak Kumar Samant, Sujit Mahanti, along with all the staff members of the high school.
