Kalahandi, 5th Nov 2025: A road accident occurred this morning near the Sagada River bridge on National Highway 26, between Bhawanipatna and Junagarh in Kalahandi district.
A Maruti WagonR car, carrying two youths from Andhra Pradesh, was traveling from Nabarangpur toward Bhawanipatna when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the vehicle near the Sagada River. As a result, the car plunged about 25 feet off the roadside and overturned.
The driver sustained serious injuries, while the other passenger suffered minor injuries, according to reports.
