Cabinet Approves 16 Proposals from 13 Departments in Key Meeting

Bhubaneswar, April 10:  The cabinet meeting has concluded with approval of 16 proposals across 13 departments.
Approval has been given to amendments in the reservation policy in educational institutions.
The number of seats for SC and ST students has been increased in educational institutions.
A new scheme, the Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana, will be launched in the state.
Beneficiaries will receive an additional 5 kg of rice under the scheme.
Another new initiative, the Mukhyamantri Hunutan Yojana, will also be introduced.
The Badamba Sugar Industry will be reopened, with an investment of around Rs 352 crore.
