Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has announced that the evaluation of the Class 10 (HSC) examination answer sheets will commence on March 19, 2025. To facilitate this process, approximately 11,800 teachers have been appointed across 50 evaluation centers statewide. Appointment letters for these teachers are available on the BSE Odisha website, accessible by school code. Headmasters can retrieve the appointment letters for their respective teachers using this method. Teachers assigned as evaluators are instructed to report to their designated evaluation centers by 10:00 AM on March 18, 2025. The evaluation process is expected to begin promptly on March 19, 2025.

In preparation, the transfer of answer sheets from 314 nodal centers to the respective evaluation centers has already commenced. This transfer process is scheduled to be completed between March 15 and March 17, 2025, ensuring all answer sheets reach their destinations securely and on time.

The Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 21 to March 6, 2025, with approximately 522,336 students registered across 3,133 exam centers. Notably, there was a discrepancy in the Science question paper (Set-C), which contained 96 marks instead of the standard 100. The BSE Odisha has acknowledged this issue and assured that corrective measures will be implemented to ensure students are not adversely affected.

To maintain transparency and integrity during the evaluation process, all centers are equipped with CCTV surveillance. Additionally, the BSE plans to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to monitor the evaluation process rigorously. The board aims to announce the results in the first week of May 2025.
