Starmer’s First Visit to India as PM
This is Starmer’s first visit to India since becoming the British Prime Minister. Tomorrow (Thursday), he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Modi in Mumbai at the Raj Bhavan. Following this, both leaders will participate in the CEO Forum and the Global Fintech Fest 2025 at the Jio World Center. It is likely that both leaders will address the event.
During Starmer’s two-day visit, there is a possibility that the promotion of Scotland’s whisky industry through the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries will be discussed during the bilateral meeting.
