Ganjam, Dec, 29: On the New Year, bringing gifts to the office is prohibited. Bringing flower bouquets, sweets, or any gifts has been banned. The Ganjam District Collector has issued these guidelines. An appeal has been made to take part in the pledge for “Dharitri Maa” (Mother Earth). The District Collector has called upon all district residents to participate. Similarly, the District Collector, V. Kirshy Vasan, has also appealed to everyone to avoid using plastic for a day.
