Puri, 29th Aug 2025: A breastfeeding room will soon be established within the premises of the Jagannath Temple (Srimandir), Puri. The temple administration has announced this initiative for the convenience of devotees.
Every day, a large number of devotees visit the Srimandir, among whom many mothers come with their infants. Since these children are dependent on breastfeeding, such a facility is being arranged to support both mothers and their babies.
The breastfeeding room will be located near the branch office of the temple administration within the temple complex. Puri Collector informed that a special guideline will also be prepared for its proper functioning.
