Borigumma, Nov 22 : If someone is a government officer, they usually have little time for personal initiatives — but even then, starting an innovative effort and teaching children in schools has now become a topic of discussion. Sukanta Kumar Pattanayak of Borigumma has been in the news for taking time out of his busy administrative schedule to launch, on his own initiative, a program called “Aasa Khojiba” to help eligible beneficiaries—who often remain unnoticed by the government—get included in government schemes.
Now again, he has come into the spotlight by launching another innovative initiative titled “Ebe Padhiba Pare Gadhhiba” (“Study Now, Build Later”). The aim of this program is to provide education and skill-based vocational training to school dropouts, and to guide them toward a healthy life free from child marriage.
