Block-Level ‘Surabhi’ Program Held in Narsinghpur; 29 Students Advance to District Level

Narsinghpur, 23rd Oct 2025:  The block-level Surabhi program was organized at Alara Government Upper Primary School under the Narsinghpur block. In this program, 240 students from 189 schools across 17 clusters of the block participated in 29 competitions. The 29 students who secured first place in these competitions have been nominated to participate in the district-level competition.

The event was held under the chairmanship of BEO (Block Education Officer) Ms. Lopamudra Routaray. The program was inaugurated by Kishore Chandra Mishra, President of the Cuttack District Council. Among the honored guests were: BRC (Block Resource Coordinator) President Sasmita Jena, Block Vice President Narayan Nayak, Cuttack District Education and Training Officer Niranjan Sahu, Sarpanch Pramodini Devi, committee member Jayanti Dhaka, retired teacher Shatrughna Nayak, AEO Trilochan Pradhan, Vijay Bhuyan, Lakshmidhar Behera, and Alara High School Headmaster Prabhat Behera.

In the afternoon, during the prize distribution ceremony, MLA Vijay Kumar Dal Behera attended as the chief guest and awarded certificates and prizes to the meritorious students. The program, conducted with the coordination of the school’s headmaster Sameer Manasingh, was managed by teachers Binayak Mishra, Upendra Nath Behera, and Ranjan Sahu, among others.

All the cluster CRCCs along with teachers Ajay Sahu, Sugam Prasad Talua, Shashwat Sahu, Abhimanyu Chamariray, Parshuram Behera, Bishwanath Sahu, Dillip Sahu, Pushpalata Sahu, Damayanti Rath, Purnachandra Dhal, and other teachers and educators cooperated in organizing the program.
