Riamal | 16th Sept 2025: A Block-Level Sports Talent Selection Camp was successfully conducted at the playground of Naulipada Government High School, organized by the Riamal Block Education Department.
On the occasion of the inaugural event, Prafulla Kumar Kalo, Cluster Education Officer of Riamal, attended as the Chief Guest, while Banita Behera and Maheshwar Behera, both Additional Cluster Education Officers, attended as Honoured Guests. All dignitaries encouraged the participating students.
On the first day, 210 boys participated in various sports, and on the second day, 115 girls took part in the events.
From among them, players were selected for district-level competitions in sports such as:
Football
Volleyball
Kabaddi
Hockey
Kho-Kho
Badminton
Track and Field (Running Events)
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Block Sports Secretary Jagadish Bhai.

Kundheigala Zone Secretary Ashok Kumar Nayak
along with the entire team of physical education teachers and instructors of the block.
Additionally, District Physical Education Inspector Padmini Mahapatra attended the camp and motivated the students.
