Kotpad, Jan, 02: The Block-Level Mathematics Day was celebrated at the local Government Girls’ High School. The event was organized under the supervision of Dr. Ganesh Chandra Panda (Editor of the local school Mathematics Day Committee), President Maniprasad Pattnayak, and Cashier Sudhura Chandra Mahanti.
Around 100 participants from various schools of the block took part in the event. The chief guests included local MLA Rupu Bhatra, M. Shankar Rao, Chairman of Kotpad NAC, Block Education Officer Swapteshwar Nayak, and Deputy Headmistress Damayanti Sahu.
The key speaker was mathematics teacher Hemant Behera from Kotpad Residential School. All the teachers actively assisted in managing and coordinating the program. The session was conducted by Pankaj Kumar Mahanti, while science teachers Ratikant Mahanti and Avinash Mahapatra helped prepare the question papers.
At the end of the event, prizes were distributed to all the meritorious students by the guests, and certificates were given to all participating students.
