Jharigam, Dec, 13:– A block-level joint public grievance camp was held today at the Jharigam Panchayat Samiti office in Nabarangpur district under the chairmanship of the District Collector, Maheshwar Swain.

During the camp, residents from various areas of the Jharigam Panchayat met with the District Collector to raise grievances related to government land, housing, drainage bills, road construction, and other local issues. A total of 28 complaints were registered, of which 14 were individual complaints and the remaining 14 were group/community complaints.

Out of these, 28 complaints were addressed immediately during the camp. For the other complaints where resolution or action could not be taken on the spot, the concerned departmental officials were instructed to ensure quick follow-up and resolution in the next phase.

During the camp, two individuals were provided wheelchairs, and 43 people were given old-age pensions. The program was attended by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), SP, R&D department officials, Srunga Jay Vibhag, Video Madhusudan Majhi, BSS Saurabh Ketan Behera, J.E., Jharigam Police Station Officer Pradeep P. Kumar, GPO Ramesh, and other government staff.
