Koraput,5th Nov 2025: A block-level Fishery and Livestock Fair 2025 was held near Radha-Radhakrishna Tribal High School in Dashmantpur Block, Koraput district. The event was organized under the supervision of local officials Sudhakar Behera and Gopal Krishna Dandapath, with participation from over 100 farmers from 16 panchayats.
The chief guest at the event was Lakshmipur MLA Pavitra Saunta, while the key speaker was CDVO Dr. Lakshmidhar Behera.
The fair aimed to showcase fishery, livestock, and other departmental programs, promote their development, and enhance farmer prosperity in the block and state.
The event was attended by DFO Sagar Kumar Ram, BDO Sudhur Kumar Behera, members of District Council Zone-1 and Zone-2, Parliamentary representative Sudarshan Sahu, Prashant Mahanti, Parikshit Kundu, Prashant Pradhan, and other dignitaries.
The program was organized with the cooperation of employees of the Fishery and Livestock Department.
