Koraput, 10th Nov 2025:– A block-level Fisheries and Animal Resources Fair was organized at the Local Kalyan Mandap in Jeypore. The program was inaugurated by the Jeypore Sub-Collector, Akbaram Sasya Reddy, as the chief guest.

During the fair, discussions were held on various government schemes designed to make farmers self-reliant. Farmers were educated on how to benefit from these schemes. The chief speaker at the event was the Chief District Veterinary Officer, who provided insights on livestock management and welfare.

The 2025 fair showcased fisheries, animal resources, and other departmental programs. The event included exhibitions, farmer-specialist discussion sessions, awareness programs, and cultural activities. Farmers actively participated and successful farmers were honored. Several stalls provided information related to fisheries and animal resources, allowing farmers to gain valuable knowledge about agriculture and livestock.
