Asurali, Dec, 27: The first death anniversary of the late Chandrakanta Ray, a social worker and deeply religious person from Mamadula village under Arjunpur Panchayat of Dhamnagar block, was observed at his ancestral residence in Mamadula village.
On the occasion of the death anniversary of late Ray, a memorial meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Manoj Ray. The condolence and remembrance meeting was attended by former विधायक (MLA) Muktikanta Mandal, former Block Chairman Ashok Kumar Nayak, Dhusuri Police Station Officer Ajay Sudarshan Bag, President of Dhusuri Press Union Santosh Das, Editor Dipti Ranjan Nayak, Arjunpur Sarpanch Sarita Mahanti, Samiti Member Bidhyadhar Raut, Dr. Sanjay Das, Bijay Sahu, Umesh Mahanti, Santosh Ray, Jafran Kumar Ray, Tapan Raut, Akshay Kumar Nayak, among others.
As part of the observance of the death anniversary, blankets were distributed. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ramesh Dhala.
