Cuttack,10th Nov 2025: This year at Cuttack-in-Cuttack, visitors will get to see glimpses of Odia language, literature, and culture, thanks to the full effort of the students of BK Art and Craft College. Under the guidance of the college’s alumnus Rasmiranjan Das, more than eight students are creating various replicas.

The college’s alumnus Chitrasen Behera, who has an interest in making fiber sculptures, is now making replicas of prominent Odia figures using stone and foam, offering a unique experience. Although he has been doing this work for the past two years, this is his first time participating in Bali Jatra.

In addition, six selfie zones and six replicas highlighting the Odia alphabet and Odia literature have been created. According to Mr. Das, priority has been given to content that promotes the Odia language, especially for students who are less familiar with it.

Lucky Bhukta, a second-year student, said that working here has helped her gain a lot of valuable experience.
