BJD Organizes Massive Public Outreach Rally in Mathili Block

Malkangiri,17th Oct 2025: A public outreach rally (Jan Sampark Padayatra) was launched today by the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Mathili block, starting from Shaheed Laxman Nayak Bhavan. The rally was organized under the leadership of Block BJD President Sadashiv Pujari, with hundreds of party workers participating.

The main objective of the rally, according to party members, is to raise awareness among the public about the failures of the BJP-led government. The BJD aims to connect with the people, strengthen ties through mutual trust, and expose the shortcomings of the current administration.

The rally highlighted several key issues, including:

  • Increased violence against women
  • Lack of safety for female students
  • Corruption in police SI recruitment exams
  • Unfulfilled promises like 300 units of free electricity
  • Allegations of vote rigging and misappropriation of government schemes
  • Elderly people not receiving pensions
  • Patients suffering due to Ayushman Bharat card issues

The BJD stated that the rally will continue until November 9, and throughout this period, they will reach out to people and raise awareness on these matters.

Party leaders also pointed out that even after one and a half years, many eligible villagers have not been included in housing schemes. Beneficiaries are constantly appealing to government officers for pensions but are left frustrated. People with disabilities are also suffering due to official neglect.

BJD claimed that the rally will expose the inefficiency of the current government and bring these issues to light.
