Kolanara, 28th July 2025: The road leading to the Government Upper Primary School in Bhujabala village under Kolanara Sadar Panchayat used to become muddy and waterlogged during rains, causing serious inconvenience for students during their commute. Even small children going to the nearby Anganwadi Centre were struggling due to the poor road condition.
Following the publication of a report titled “Bhujabala School Road is a Death Trap” in Sambad on the 28th of last month, the panchayat administration took prompt action.
Stones have now been laid and the surface leveled to improve the road condition. However, local residents have expressed concerns that the road may again turn muddy soon, and they are demanding a permanent solution by constructing a concrete or paved road immediately.
