Kotpad Dec, 12: Bhimbhoi disability camp was organized at the premises of the Kotpad Panchayat Samiti Office. Patients and members with disabilities from Kotpad Block and NAC attended the camp, where a district-level medical team conducted examinations to assess their conditions and determine eligibility for various benefits.
The event was attended by Kotpad Block Video Manoj Nayak, Kotpad Notified Area Council President M. Shankar Rao, Member of Parliament representative Rameshwar Jena, MLA representative Suren Mihanti, Deputy Chairman Tapan Panigrahi, all ward members, committee members, teachers, and educational staff. All residents of Kotpad Natpad area, as well as people with disabilities and employees of Kotpad Block, participated and extended full cooperation.
A total of 5,344 individuals were registered during the camp, among whom:
Orthopedic issues: 230 cases
Oral disorders: 53 cases
Visual impairment: 73 cases
Sickle cell & thalassemia: 91 cases
Mental disorders: 97 cases
These individuals received necessary medical attention and were assessed for relevant benefits.
