Koshagumuda: Bhimasen Pradhan, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) of Temara Gram Panchayat in Kosagumuda block, Nabarangpur district, passed away unexpectedly. He was also actively associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Today morning, after completing his routine RSS activities, he was returning from the branch meeting when he suddenly experienced chest pain on the way back to the government office by bus. He was first rushed to the local community health center, and later referred to a private hospital in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. However, doctors there declared him dead.
He was only a day away from his official retirement. During his service, he was honored for his many contributions to public welfare. Known as a kind-hearted, generous, calm, and compassionate person, his passing drew a large crowd of people for a final glimpse.
His native village Putt in Malkangiri district, as well as his workplace Koshagumuda, are enveloped in deep mourning over his loss.
