Nabarangpur , 20th Oct 2025: A camp was organised in the Tentulikhunti block of Nabarangpur District for persons with disabilities under the Bhima Bhoi scheme. With the presence of the district Social Security Officer (SSO), Mr. Ashish Ranjan Patra, and the block S ocial Security Officer Mr. Rabindra Sahu, the programme was conducted in cooperation with the block’s Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, the Saksham (capable persons) division and all relevant departmental staff and Panchayat Executives.
Through various desks—such as for the visually impaired, speech/hearing impaired, orthopedically challenged and other categories—persons from different Panchayats of the block were registered and linked with support services. Among those present were Block Vice‑Chairman Mr. Kripāsindhu Nayak, Chairperson Ms. Nilāndrī Nayak, Vice‑Chair Mr. Rajendra Bishoi, BJP Mandal Chair Mr. Abhimanyu Hārijan, Mandal Chair Mr. Prashānt Nayak, Child Development Project Officer Ms. Binita Jethī, Panchayat Officer Mr. Rādhākānt Rānā, District Saksham Chair Mr. Sujit Kumar Rath, Block Chair Mr. Dillīp Sūnā, among others.
