Boipariguda,Jan 31: A Bhim Bhoi Samarthya Camp was organized at the premises of Boipariguda Block. The program was inaugurated by Block Chairman Prashant Gupta, Vice-Chairperson Purnima Barik, Block Development Officer Subrata Sahu, and Samiti Member Manjulata Pattnaik, who formally opened the camp by cutting the ribbon.
A total of 276 persons with disabilities from 20 Gram Panchayats attended the camp. Among them were 110 persons with physical disabilities, 78 with hearing impairments, 38 with visual impairments, 39 with intellectual disabilities, and 11 with other types of disabilities. They were examined and treated by a visiting team of doctors.
Disability certificates were issued to the beneficiaries by the administration. The program was coordinated by the Block Social Security Officer, Karvi K. Padhi, with support from staff members of various departments of the block.
