Tikabali, Jan, 08: At Bahadasahi Chhak near Tikabali in Kandhamal district, a match of the Bhanja and Madan Memorial Volleyball Tournament was held today between Kandhamal Six and Daringbadi. In this contest, Kandhamal Six emerged victorious.
The Director of Tikabali Seva English Medium School, Nutana Nayak, attended the event as the chief guest and said that victory is assured when the game is played with discipline and unity. In the second set, former Block Chairman Shashibhusan Bhoi joined as the chief guest and encouraged the players.
The advisor of the organizing committee, Dinabandhu Mahanti, introduced the guests. The match was officiated by Shiva Panigrahi. The programme was supported by Prashanu Behera, Bikranti Bhoi, Sumanu Digal, Srikanta Bhoi, Pradeep Kahar, Rajesh Digal, Miren Nayak, Bishal, Gudu, Raju, Kahna, Chikunu, and Ramesh.
At the end, the President of the organizing committee, Prabhanjan Kahar, delivered the vote of thanks.
