Tentulikhunti, Dec, 13: On the occasion of Bhagwan Dattatreya’s Jayanti, celebrations were held at the Shri Shri Dattatreya Temple located in the main office premises of the Indravati Project at Khatiguda. Under the guidance of Pandit Ranjan Kumar Tripathy, Pandit Krishna Chandra Samantaray, and temple priest Prashant Kumar Panda, rituals were conducted with the chanting of sacred mantras. Senior teacher and social worker Anand Nepak and his wife Madhavi Lata performed the ceremonial offerings into the sacred fire (Yajna Kund).
The event took place under the supervision of social worker Santosh Kumar Choudhury, the founder of the Dattatreya Temple’s Prana Pratistha, along with his wife Nirmala Pal. Others who actively contributed to the ceremony included Pandit Vibhu Padaravinda Rath, Rajendra Nayak, Bhawani Choudhury, Krishna Padhi, and Kishore Chandra Panda.
