Belguntha, 11th Nov 2025: At the district-level “Surabhi” program held on Saturday at Brahmapur VVV Girls’ High School, two students from Belguntha Block qualified for the state-level Surabhi competition, bringing pride and recognition to the block.
According to reports, in the senior category, Truptimayee Pradhan, a Class 8 student of K. Nuagada Nodal Upper Primary School, delivered an outstanding performance in the creative writing competition on the topic “My Dream Odisha: Preparation and Progress”, earning her selection for the state-level Surabhi.
Similarly, in the Class 11–12 category, Lidwarani Bishoyi, a Class 12 student of Kshatriyabarapur Regional Science Higher Secondary School, excelled in the essay writing competition on the topic “Modernity, Information and Technology: Prosperous Odisha”, and has also been selected for the state-level Surabhi competition.
The success of these two talented students has created a wave of joy throughout Belguntha Block, including their schools and local communities.
Ganjam District Education Officer Ajay Kumar Patra, Sorada MLA Neelamani Bishoyi, Belguntha Cluster Education Officer Lopamudra Rath, ABEO Govind Chandra Padhi, Pratibha Kumari Rath, Primary Teachers’ Association President Mrutyunjaya Panda, Headmaster Simanchal Pradhan, President Runibala Tripathy, Guide Teacher Karunakar Bishoyi, Lecturer Trinath Behera, along with all CRCCs and many teachers and educators of the block, congratulated both meritorious students and wished them great success in the upcoming state-level Surabhi program.
