Jharsuguda, Jan, 02:A ‘Subhadra Shakti Café’ was inaugurated today in Sarandamal, under Lakhanpur Block, through a joint effort of the district administration and Odisha Livelihood Mission. The District Collector, Mr. Kunal Motiram Chandran, attended as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the café.

This new café will be run by members of the ‘Maa Santoshi Self-Help Group’ of Sarandamal. The main objective of the project is to promote entrepreneurial skills among women and empower them financially.

For this purpose, the members of the self-help group have been provided specialized training to prepare various food items in line with market demand. A skilled training team from the Odisha Livelihood Mission’s state office in Bhubaneswar came to provide them instruction on modern cooking techniques and customer service.
The event was attended by senior officials from the district and block administration, representatives from Odisha Livelihood Mission, and local community leaders.
