Umerkote, 27th Sept 2025: 10th day of Maa Banadurga’s Shodasha Upachara Puja and the 2nd day of Navaratri celebrations. On this occasion, a large gathering of devotees can be seen at the Banadurga Temple in Umerkote town.
All arrangements have been made to ensure a peaceful and well-managed darshan experience for the devotees. The temple is adorned and vibrant for the nine-day-long Navaratri festival, during which the sacred Sapta Sati Chandi Mahayajna is performed daily.
As per tradition and rituals, daily worship of the Goddess is being carried out with full devotion. Hundreds of devotees and spiritual seekers are visiting the temple during the Sharadiya Durga Puja, seeking blessings from the Goddess.
The temple premises have become lively and energetic with the spiritual ambiance created by mantra chanting and Chandi recitations. Devotees believe that no one returns empty-handed from Maa Banadurga’s divine presence.
In keeping with tradition, the Ghata Visarjan (immersion of the sacred pot) will be conducted on Vijaya Dashami. The administration has made extensive security and crowd management arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the festivities and darshan for all.
