Kotpad Jan, 12:A badminton tournament along with a summer camp ceremony and block-level junior badminton competition was organized at Kotpad Biju Pattnayak Stadium. Around 19 players participated in this tournament.
In the doubles category, Aditya and Banti emerged as winners, while Yatin and Shan were the runners-up. In the singles competition, the contest was between Yatin and [name unclear].
The event was organized with the support of the Kotpad area council and the DSO, Koraput. Watching the children play, it was evident that they are receiving excellent training.
All credit goes to Anil Dalai, the regular badminton coach of MP I.S., who was highly appreciated and thanked by the organizers for his efforts.
The chief guest of the event was the N.A.C. president, who, in his address, assured that district-level competitions will be organized very soon.
