Authorities Hold Preparation Meeting for Upcoming Tabletop Exercise and Mock Drill

Nabarangpur: A preparatory meeting for the upcoming Tabletop Exercise (TTX) and Mock Drill was held at the conference hall under the chairmanship of Nabarangpur Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bishwajit Barman.

The meeting focused on preparedness for the district-level tabletop exercise scheduled for the morning of the 18th, and the block and urban area level exercise in the afternoon. On the 19th, a mock drill will be conducted at all cyclone shelter centers across the district.

The exercises aim to ensure zero casualty and minimize damage to life and property during unforeseen natural disasters like floods and cyclones. Various aspects of disaster preparedness were discussed in the meeting to ensure all departments remain alert and ready.
