Nabarangpur, Jan 31: A review meeting was held at the Panchayat Samiti Office in Nabarangpur in the presence of Lok Sabha MP Balabhadra Majhi as the Chief Guest and Nabarangpur MLA Gouri Shankar Majhi as the Guest of Honour. During the visit, they participated in the review meeting and distributed assistance benefits to various beneficiaries.
The Lok Sabha MP held detailed discussions with block-level officials regarding the vision, implementation, benefits, and policy framework of Viksit Bharat, assured employment, and the Rural Livelihood Mission 2025. He directed officials to ensure the successful implementation of various government schemes in their respective departments and to focus on delivering maximum services to the public. He further instructed them to prepare a well-planned action draft by 20 February 2026.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest distributed Social Security Pension assistance to 32 beneficiaries under various schemes, housing incentives to 41 beneficiaries under the Rural Housing Scheme, benefits to 127 beneficiaries under the Basundhara Yojana, and new ration cards to 16 beneficiaries.
Among others present at the meeting were Panchayat Samiti Chairman Sarat Bhatra, BDO Sunil Khara, the Tahasildar, the Assistant Executive Engineer, block-level officials, and other government employees.
