Nabarangpur , Jan 31: Today, at the Nabarangpur Panchayat Samiti office, Hon’ble Lok Sabha MP Balabhadra Majhi attended as the Chief Guest and Hon’ble MLA of Nabarangpur Gouri Shankar Majhi attended as the Guest of Honour. After inspecting the proceedings, they participated in a review meeting and distributed assistance allowances to beneficiaries.
The MP held detailed discussions with block officials regarding the vision of Viksit Bharat, assured employment, and the objectives, benefits, and implementation strategies of the Aajeevika Mission 2025. Officials were instructed to ensure successful implementation of various government schemes in their respective departments and to focus on delivering maximum services to the general public.
The MLA of Nabarangpur, through his gracious hands, also facilitated the distribution under new social security and public distribution initiatives, including benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin).
Officials were directed to prepare a well-structured action plan on the above initiatives by 20 February 2026.
On this occasion, the MP distributed:
Social Security Pension allowances to 32 beneficiaries
Rural Housing Scheme incentives to 41 beneficiaries
Basundhara Scheme benefits to 127 beneficiaries
New ration cards to 16 beneficiaries
Among those present at the meeting were Panchayat Samiti Chairman Sarat Bhatra, BDO Sunil Khara, the Tahasildar, Assistant Executive Engineer, block-level officials, and other government employees.
