Brahmapur: The Arjun Laughing Club of Brahmapur celebrated World Laughter Day along with its Silver Jubilee at Sanskriti Bhavan, Hillpatna.
The event was presided over by Simanchal Prasad Beshoyi, and the program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Brahmapur MLA K. Anil Kumar. Renowned guest Padma Shri Krishna Mohan Pathi and General Secretary Dr. Samarendra Kumar Sahu delivered the welcome address.
Four senior members of the club—Chandra Behera, Niranjan Maharana, M. Satya Narayan, and Prabhas Chandra Halder—were felicitated during the event. Winners of various competitions were awarded by the guests.

Kumar Swami Patra, Sanjay Kumar Achari, Bipracharan Nayak, Shiba Shankar Panigrahi, Pradeep Achari, and Rajendra Kumar Panigrahi.
Among others, veteran journalists such as Shaktidhar Rajguru, Sudip Kumar Sahu, Debahari Behera, Buji, Gopal Reddy, Amar, Suresh Chandra Tripathy, and Sabita Sahukar were also felicitated.
