Approval for 3 Postgraduate Departments at F.M. Medical College

Baleshwar, 25th Oct 2025:  Fakir Mohan Medical College will now offer postgraduate education.

For this purpose, three departments have been approved by the Odisha University of Health Sciences (OUHS). In the first phase, the approval includes:

ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) – 3 PG seats

Anesthesia – 3 PG seats

Obstetrics & Gynecology – 2 PG seats

This information has been provided by the college authorities. Among the medical colleges opened in Odisha after 2017, Fakir Mohan Medical College in Baleshwar is the first to receive government approval to start postgraduate courses, which has been welcomed by the college authorities.

It has been announced that teaching in these postgraduate departments will commence from the upcoming academic session.
