Anti-Drug Awareness Chariot Inaugurated in Gunupur to Fight Substance Abuse

Gunupur  The anti-drug awareness chariot campaign has been officially inaugurated. The event was graced by Deputy Collector Kiran Deep Kaur as the chief guest, and SDPO Babulinayak as the special guest, who jointly flagged off the chariot and launched the campaign.

The program was presided over by Excise Inspector Preetidhara Nayak. Other notable attendees included:

KKVK Kahar, Officer-in-Charge, Adarsh Police Station

Executive Officer of the Municipality

Assistant Engineer

Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Sangeeta Pattnayak

Personal Assistant to the Deputy Collector, Radha Sethi, among others.

This awareness chariot will travel across all villages and hamlets under the jurisdiction of the Gunupur Excise Range, spreading awareness against drug abuse.

Excise Inspector stated that the chariot’s mission is to educate the public on the harmful effects of drug use. The campaign activities were coordinated by Excise Assistant Inspector Dibakar Mahapatra and staff from the Excise Department.
