Malkangiri, Jan, 01: The annual function of the PM SHRI Government Nodal High School was celebrated today with great enthusiasm and festivity on the school campus. The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Additional District Collector Somanath Pradhan, through the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
The event was conducted by Shri Bishnu Prasad Subuddhi. Shri Ashok Kumar Pattnaik (Head of Legal Defense Authority) attended as the keynote speaker. The distinguished guests included Additional District Education Officer Bhagirath Behera, Principal of Women’s College Dushmanta Jena, Dr. Ranjan Kumar Swain, Head of the Commerce Department, Malkangiri College, and journalist Shri Rakesh Das.
In the presence of the guests, students captivated the audience with dance, music, drama, and literary performances. Students who excelled in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities were felicitated and awarded by the guests.
The theme “Empowerment through Education” was presented through skits and speeches. Praising the overall developmental efforts of the school, the chief guest inspired students to move forward with discipline and innovation.
In her address, Headmistress Shanti Rani Biswas expressed pride in the achievements of the students and acknowledged the dedication of the teachers. Senior teacher Ritanjali Samal presented the annual report, while Mathematics teacher M. Nandini delivered the vote of thanks.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem and a series of colorful cultural performances.
