Rasulpur, Jan, 06: The 30th Annual Function of Madhuban Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, located at Madhubanhat under Badakaichh Panchayat of Rasulpur Block, was celebrated under the chairmanship of Prabhakar Sahu, President of the School Managing Committee.
The event was graced by Jajpur MP Rabindra Narayan Behera as the chief guest. Kunjabihari Das, President of the Intellectual Council of Shiksha Vikas Samiti, attended as the key speaker. Among the distinguished guests were Niranjan Maharana, Advocate of the Vigilance Department and Enforcement Directorate; former Block Chairman Shashibhusan Sahu; Udayanath Pani; and Anil Dwivedi.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers stated that Shishu Vidya Mandirs play a vital role in preserving and promoting Indian culture, tradition, and heritage.
The school’s Headmaster Sanjay Mishra presented the annual report, while Gurji Nigamananda Mishra delivered the welcome address and introduced the guests. The program was conducted by Amarendra Sahu, Vice-Headmaster.
Students who emerged as champions in the annual sports meet—Shubham Raut, Vaishnavi Das, Bhavani Shankar Das, Shubhalaxmi Sahu, Prabhukrupa Raut, and Sohani Maharana—were awarded by the guests.
It was informed that 14 former students of the Vidya Mandir are currently studying in medical colleges. Among them, Chandan Jena, a medical student of Talcher Medical College, was specially felicitated.
Students who passed the Class III promotion examination—Upasana Basu, Sukanta Maharana, Bhagyashree Sahu, and Pralipta Priyadarshini Sahu—as well as Class V promoted student Himanshu Sekhar Sahu, and Navodaya examination qualifiers Pratik Dash and Aditya Sahu, were also felicitated by the chief guest on behalf of the Vidya Mandir.
Students presented cultural programs on the occasion. Prakash Chandra Sahu, Treasurer of the Managing Committee; Purna Chandra Sahu, Joint Secretary; along with all teachers (Gurumaa and Guruji), actively cooperated in the successful conduct of the program.
