Bhubaneswar, Feb, 10: The annual examinations for students from Class I to Class VIII will commence from March 6. While students of Classes I to IV and VI to VII will appear for Summative Assessment-2, students of Classes V and VIII will sit for their annual examinations.

Oral examinations will be conducted from March 6 to 7, and written examinations will be held from March 7 to March 13. The schedule has been issued by the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA).

On March 6, students from Classes I to V will have examinations in Mother Tongue, Environmental Studies, and Social Science. On March 7, Mathematics will be conducted for Classes I to V. Students of Classes III to V will also have an oral examination in English.

From March 9 onwards, written examinations will be conducted in two sittings. The first sitting will be from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and the second sitting from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There will be a pass-fail system for Classes V and VIII.

On March 9, the first sitting will have the Mother Tongue examination for Classes I to VIII, while the second sitting will have the History examination for Classes VI to VIII.
On March 10, Mathematics will be held in the first sitting for Classes I to VIII. In the second sitting, Drawing will be conducted for Classes VI to VIII.

On March 11, in the first sitting, Environmental Studies will be held for Classes I to IV, Social Studies for Class V, and Science for Classes VI to VIII.

On March 12, Drawing will be conducted for Classes I to V in the first sitting, while Geography will be held for Classes VI to VIII.

On March 13, English will be conducted for Classes III to VIII in the first sitting. In the second sitting, Hindi will be held for Classes VI to VIII, and Sanskrit examination will be conducted exclusively for Class VIII.
