Nabarangpur, Dec, 23: The triennial annual conference of the Nabarangpur district branch of the Odisha Revenue Employees’ Association was held with great ceremony under the chairmanship of former president Ashutosh Mohanty.
The programme was attended as chief guest by the State Executive President Prasanna Kumar Nayak. Koraput District Secretary Nityananda Bhatra and senior member from Koraput district Manoj Barik joined as guests of honour. On this occasion, all revenue employees of the district were present.
During the meeting, the members expressed their commitment to the Association and shared their views on strengthening the organisation through unity in the coming days. In this context, a new executive committee was elected for the next three years.
In the election, Kailash Chandra Das was elected as President; senior revenue assistant Bibek Nayak as Chairman; Sourav Kumar Das and Amit Kumar as Vice-Chairmen; Debashish Suar as Secretary; Maithili Patnaik and Kailash Pujari as Joint Secretaries; and Sahid Akhtar as Treasurer, among others.
The newly elected members were administered the oath of office by State President Tripati Balaji Sahu. Pramod Kumar Charchi performed his duties as Election Observer, while Sangram Keshari Pradhan served as the Election Officer.
