Amarnath The Amarnath Yatra will begin on July 3 and conclude on August 9. Security has been tightened in view of the Pahalgam attack. 581 companies of CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) will be deployed for security duties. The yatra will continue for 38 days starting from July 3. Last year, the Amarnath Yatra lasted for 52 days.
