Raighar, Feb, 14:A self-defense training camp was inaugurated on Tuesday at Raighar Degree College in Nabarangpur district, as per the directives of the State Government’s Higher Education Department.
The program was organized under the leadership of College Principal Kshirod Chandra Nayak. Principal of Panchayat Samiti Higher Secondary School, Parikshita Sahu, attended as the chief guest.
The importance of self-defense training for girls was emphasized during the event. It was stated that in today’s society, it is not enough for girls to be educated alone; they must also be physically and mentally strong to ensure their own safety. Such training programs help boost their self-confidence and enable them to face challenging situations with courage.
On this occasion, program coordinator Madhusmita Das, lecturers Chittaranjan Gond and Monalisa Bagh, along with other faculty members and staff, were present.
