Nabarangpur: 11th Oct 2025: A representative team of the Nabarangpur Advocates’ Association, led by its President Sirajuddin Ahmad, met District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain and submitted a memorandum containing 10 demands. The memorandum primarily highlighted the various confusions and errors remaining in the Bhubandbasta (settlement) conducted in 2014 in the Nabarangpur Sadar subdivision. - Timely provision of certificate copies to lawyers without delay,
- Transfer of the association office to the vacant registrar office space after the Sub-Collector’s office shifts to another location,
- Arrangement of town transport for poor advocates to attend court,
- Taking steps to regulate illegal traffic from Gundicha Temple to Mangalam Timber Chhak.
