Advanta Company’s Initiative in Nabarangpur Brings New Hope to Maize Farmers

Nabarangpur, 11th Nov 2025: – Nabarangpur is a tribal-dominated district, full of hills and waterfalls, where farming is the backbone of life. A new agricultural revolution has reached the soil of these farmers with the maize hybrid ADV 7154 introduced by Advanta Company.

Advanta Company organized a crop demonstration program in the district, which was conducted with great enthusiasm. A total of 39 approved dealers and 3 district-level distributors participated in the event. Observations in the demonstrated fields revealed that the ADV 7154 maize variety produced very high-quality yields, and according to farmers and dealers, this hybrid was free of major diseases, the plants were tall and strong, and the crop was highly suitable for fodder purposes.

The dealers unanimously stated that this hybrid would bring a revolution to the lives of maize farmers in Nabarangpur district. The program was attended by regional officer Pramod Kumar Nayak, sub-regional officer Soumya Ranjan Senapati, Ranjit Kumar Pradhan, Baikuntha Nath Sethi, and Tuna Pradhan.

In addition, approved dealers from Tentulikhunti block, Milan Mahanti and B. Parameswar Gupta, and from Papadahandi block, Sadashiv Das, actively participated in the event. Farmers expressed their hope that ADV 7154 would become the first choice for everyone in the upcoming Kharif season.

The new hybrid is expected to open new avenues for income growth and prosperity for the farmers of Nabarangpur district. Local farmers and dealers believe that ADVANTA’s hybrid can create a historic impact in the upcoming and current Kharif season, marking a new chapter in agricultural progress in the district.
