Gudari, 28th July 2025:  Dr. Mamata Choudhury, Additional District Medical Officer, visited the Dhepaguda Primary Health Centre under Pendili Panchayat of Gudari block.

The visit came after media reports highlighted issues at the health centre and demands were raised to fill vacant posts. In the presence of villagers and local intellectuals, discussions were held regarding vacant positions of doctor, lab technician (LT), and ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife).

Dr. Choudhury assured that the matter would be immediately reported to higher departmental authorities for action. She also inquired about the number of patients treated daily and personally inspected the PHC premises.

On this occasion, former Sarpanch Satyanarayan Dora warned that if the vacant posts are not filled soon, a hunger strike will be launched in the coming days.
