ABVP Sets Ambitious Target of 12,000 Members in Nadanangi

 Nabarangpur: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Nabarangpur, has set a target of enrolling 12,000 members for the academic year 2025–26. This announcement was made during a press conference by Mohan Harijan, the State Joint Secretary of ABVP Western Odisha Province. He stated that ABVP, the world’s largest student organization, was founded on July 9, 1949, and conducts an annual membership drive.

Like every year, the membership campaign for this academic year will begin in the month of June. ABVP is also preparing to contest the student union elections across the region during this academic year.

In Western Odisha, ABVP aims to establish units in 331 colleges, 8 universities, and declare urban units at 118 locations, including all block headquarters, according to Mr. Harijan.

During the event, Koraput and Malkangiri District Organization Secretary Dibyajyoti Nanda, State Executive Member Sagarika Das, District Co-Coordinator Bibhu Sundar Jena, and Harishankar Majhi from Nabarangpur College were present.
